Özü Chamber Theater is a repertory theater and practice stage organized under the umbrella of Özyeğin University Social Activities Coordinator.
To host alternative staging formats It was created in 2014 by transforming a warehouse into a stage with the efforts of theater instructors Baran Güler, Gizem Yağız and Students.
Room Project, whose design and implementation period was phased took its current form after 5 years.
Except for the General Artistic Director, all its units are administered by appointed and elected school students.
The voluminous Stage was designed in a university without a stage department;
It is completely allocated to the students of the Chamber Group;
Institutional functioning-based progression of the management organization and structure;
Production of decor, costume, design, application and all other activities by students studying in the relevant departments, with university resources

Everything goes to Theater Club Coach Baran Güler, Social Activities Coordinator Mr. It started with Ülkü Gürsoy showing an idle room that could be used as a costume warehouse.
After a series of meetings, the idea of creating a chamber theater for performing arts, which was lacking in the university, was projected by Baran Güler with the logo and all its details; Thus began the planning and action process that he undertook from design to implementation.
During the planning phase, it was decided to divide the project into stages by spreading over the years, considering the cost of the project with Ülkü Gürsoy.
Since no additional budget can be allocated for the roomWith half of the decor budget of the play to be released by the Theater Club, the first phase of the Room project has started.
In order to reduce the cost as much as possible, blacksmiths were interviewed, wood markets and carpenters were visited, and after the purchases, the Room Project started to come alive with the participation of students in the whole application process.
In order to increase the audience capacity, the audience platforms, designed from iron profiles, were built by the blacksmith in Taşdelen.

Meanwhile, rehearsals of Oda's opening play Git-Gel Dolap were being held. After the cast changed twice in the process, rehearsals were started with the new cast.

In addition to this whole process, the rehearsals of the play 'Something Funny Happened While Going on the Road Last Night', directed by Baran Güler and Gizem Yağız, were continuing with the Theater Club. Due to the fact that there is a live orchestra, the rehearsals were divided and the decorations were made together with the students to reduce the cost, which caused a pause in the process. After the behind-the-scenes work for the play 'A Very Funny Thing Happened While Going on the Road' was completed, the Oda project was returned to, and the division of the Room started with the work of the Go-Come Dolap play.
